Job Description

REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree; Valid Texas Teacher's Certification; Secondary or All-Level Certification; Must have participated in high school sports; and Three (3) years coaching experience of UIL sports.
PREFERRED
Coaching experience at the Collegiate or professional level; and Collegiate participation. The Athletic Coordinator Middle School is to provide expertise and leadership relative to the campus athletic program and to coordinate with the Athletic Department to meet the needs of the students and staff. The Coordinator will provide instruction and teach students to develop the skill and ability to excel in sports in a manner consistent with Board policy and consistent with the statutes and standards of regulatory agencies; to be knowledgeable with the University Interscholastic League and the Constitution and Contest Rules; and adhere to Section 1201, subsection b (1) being aware of, understanding, and following all the rules governing the competition for which the coach is responsible.
