Aug 1, 2026 Job Description Girls Assistant Basketball Coach We are seeking a motivated and supportive Girls Assistant Basketball Coach to help develop student-athletes and support the head coach in running a successful program. This role emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Responsibilities include:
  • Assist the head coach with practices, games, and team development
  • Support athlete skill-building, conditioning, and strategy
  • Help supervise players during practices, games, and travel
  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic accountability
  • Assist with program logistics including equipment, uniforms, and team communication
  • Collaborate with head coach, staff, and parents to support the program
Qualifications:
  • Experience playing or coaching basketball
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and UIL guidelines
  • Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
