We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and dependable Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and have a background in gymnastics, dance, cheer, physical fitness, athletics, or a related activity. Our recreational program focuses on building confidence, coordination, strength, and a love of movement in a fun and positive environment. We are looking for coaches who can create engaging classes while maintaining a safe and structured atmosphere. Schedule Availability Required Candidates must be available for 8-12 hours per week and be able to work one or more of the following shifts:

Morning Shifts:

9:00 AM

•12:00

PM Afternoon/Evening Shifts M-F:

4:00 PM

•8:00

PM Saturdays:

9:00 AM

•2:30 PM or 2:30PM-5:30PM Consistent availability is required. Responsibilities Lead and assist recreational gymnastics classes for children of various ages and skill levels. Create a fun, safe, and positive learning environment. Teach foundational gymnastics skills using established lesson plans and progressions. Manage class structure, transitions, and student behavior effectively. Provide encouragement and constructive feedback to students. Ensure all equipment and activities meet safety standards. Communicate professionally with parents, students, and fellow staff members. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming gym environment. Assist with special events, camps, or program activities as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, coaching, fitness instruction, athletics, or a related field preferred. Strong ability to engage and work with children. Experience leading groups, teaching classes, coaching, or supervising youth programs is highly valued. Comfortable managing a class independently while maintaining organization and safety. Energetic, active, and able to demonstrate physical movements and skills. Positive attitude and strong communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to remain active throughout shifts. Ability to demonstrate skills, spot athletes, and move equipment as needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and participate in physical activities for extended periods. Compensation Compensation is dependent on experience, qualifications, and coaching background.
