About Us :
At Corpus Christi FC we are all about nurturing young athletes and providing them with a positive introduction to the world of sports. Our Youth Soccer programs focus on building fundamental skills, instilling teamwork values, and ensuring a fun and engaging experience for both players and coaches. Next Sports in collaboration with its partner Corpus Christi FC is building a world class multi-sports complex in Corpus Christi, Texas scheduled to open 12/2025. This will be the home of the Corpus Christi
FC. RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Coaching:
Develop and implement effective and age-appropriate training programs. Instruct student-athletes on the fundamentals, strategies, and rules of Flag Football. Foster a positive and competitive team environment. Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players Organize and lead team practices, drills, and scrimmages Manage game strategies and make in-game adjustments as needed Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture Supervise and ensure the safety of all players during practices and games. 2.
Player Development:
Provide individualized feedback to players for skill improvement. Support players in setting and achieving personal and team goals. Encourage a commitment to academic success and sportsmanship. 3.
Program Administration:
Coordinate practice schedules, game schedules, and team logistics. Collaborate with the Next Sports athletic department on program development and enhancement. 4.
Communication:
Maintain open and transparent communication with players, parents, and staff at Corpus Christi FC Provide regular updates on team progress and achievements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous coaching experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Flag Football rules, strategies, and training techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid coaching certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Background check clearance.
  • Availability for afternoon practices and evening games during the Flat Football season.
