40 hours per week, standard Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm, flexibility is required on evenings and weekends FLSA status:

$50,000 annually

Position Summary Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting in administration of all areas related to the success of a Division I Intercollegiate Softball program .
Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary focus is the recruitment and development of Women's Softball pitchers. Supervises academic progress of student-athletes Aids in scouting of opponents Serving as a liaison to the Diamond Club (Softball Fundraising Arm) Coordinate clinics, volunteer activities and fundraisers for the softball program Initiates and engages in the El Paso softball community Partakes in scheduling of games Planning, management, and evaluation of softball practice Developing strategy and bench coaching during softball matches Assisting with administration of softball summer camps and the planning of conditioning programs Assisting with the development of post-season and summer individual improvement programs Additional duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Minumum Experience:
One (1) year of coaching and/or playing experience, related to the statement of duties and responsibilities; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge and skill relating to the game of softball. Public relations and promotion skills. Knowledge of NCAA and C-USA Rules and Regulations, including recruiting, eligibility and certification.
