We connect families with high-quality instructors for one-on-one lessons held in backyard pools across the Dallas suburbs. Our goal is to provide a more personal and flexible experience than traditional swim schools. This is a flexible contract instructor position ideal for current swim instructors, coaches, lifeguards, college students, or former competitive swimmers looking for additional summer income with control over their own availability. What You'll Do Teach private swim lessons at clients' homes Work with children of various ages and skill levels Provide a safe, encouraging, and professional experience Communicate directly with families regarding lesson logistics and progress Manage your own schedule and availability Instructor Benefits Flexible scheduling Competitive hourly pay Ability to work in the areas and times that fit your schedule Required Qualifications Prior swim instruction experience A passion for teaching swimming and working with kids Reliable transportation Professional and friendly communication Hold OR willing to obtain both swim instruction and CPR certification Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience in any setting Already certified as a swim instructor/WSI as well as in CPR Note that this is a 1099 independent contractor position rather than a traditional employee role. There is no set/fixed weekly hours and Instructors have flexibility over their availability and scheduling, and are responsible for their own taxes and related obligations associated with independent contract work. Our platform connects you with local families looking for swim lesson and runs the registration and payment for all lessons however you will be responsible for all communications with clients.
