  • $19•20/hour Premier Recreation is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic Swim Instructor who has experience working with children with special needs .

This is a part-time Saturday position ideal for someone who enjoys helping children build water safety skills, confidence, and independence in a supportive environment. We are willing to train in swim lesson curriculum if you have a background with special needs children

Position Details Pay:

$19

Schedule:

Saturdays, 10:00 AM-2:00

Part-time Responsibilities Provide safe, engaging, and age-appropriate swim instruction Work patiently and effectively with children with varying abilities and individual needs Adapt instruction and activities based on each swimmer's comfort level and abilities Teach basic swimming, water safety, and confidence-building skills Maintain a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment Communicate professionally with parents and Premier Recreation staff Follow all pool and company safety procedures Qualifications Experience working with children with special needs is required Experience teaching swimming, aquatics, childcare, education, therapy, or a related field preferred Comfortable and confident working in the water with children Patient, dependable, energetic, and encouraging Must be consistently available Saturdays from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM Swim instructor, lifeguard, CPR/AED, or First Aid certification is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who understands that every child learns differently. The ideal instructor can adjust their teaching style, celebrate individual progress, and create a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for each participant.

Pay:

$19
