Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at a college / university CPR / AED, UIL, Concussion and coaching certifications (Upon Hire)
Special Knowledge and Skills:
Foundational Sports Knowledge:
Practical knowledge of middle school sports rules, fundamentals, and play strategies (e.g., football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, track & field, cross country, baseball, and softball).
Instructional Ability:
Ability to break down fundamental athletic skills and effectively teach technique, form, and game strategy to young/beginner athletes.
Practice Planning:
Skill in organizing, structuring, and running safe, engaging practice sessions for middle school teams.
