In this role, you will support the head coach in developing student-athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sportsmanship environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young athletes, contribute to their growth both on and off the court, and help build a vibrant basketball program. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for sports coaching, experience working with students, and a passion for mentoring youth through basketball and related activities. Responsibilities Assist the head coach in planning and executing practices, drills, and game strategies to enhance team performance. Support player development by providing technical instruction in basketball fundamentals, including shooting, passing, defense, and teamwork. Help manage team logistics such as equipment organization, game day preparations, and travel arrangements. Promote a positive team culture by encouraging good sportsmanship, discipline, and respectful behavior among players. Contribute to behavior management efforts to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all student-athletes. Engage with students during practices and competitions to motivate and inspire them to reach their full potential. Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies. Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings. This is a Part Time Stipend only position - not tied to any teaching field and no CDL required

Pay:
