A swim instructor position at Fort Aquatics to teach little children to swim. We will train you on how to teach children to swim and make you aware of all the water safety instruction required to make you a great swim instructor. About Us Fort Aquatics is an indoor Swim facility that is located in the same building as Fort Gymnastics in Murphy, TX. We are 10 minutes from Plano, 5 minutes from Wylie and Sachse, Texas. Fort Aquatics is affiliated with Fort Gymnastics and Fort Montessori Academy. As a combined group of business, we offer daycare, swim, gym and after school care and summer camps. We have been around children for 16 years and have worked very hard to earn good reputation with parents and staff. The Ideal Candidate Instructors at Fort Aquatics must be friendly, warm, energetic, and cheerful. He/she must love to work with little children of all age groups and have a passion to teach. An ideal instructor is a good communicator and one who provides top notch customer service and really cares about the progress a child. The instructor must be comfortable being in a heated pool for a 2 to 3 hour shift. Instructor must help with keeping pool clean and assist with other office duties during non-swim times.

Ability to work in and around swimming pools with exposure to chlorinated and chemically treated water. Knowledge of methods of rescue, life saving techniques, artificial respiration, and first aid a plus. But not required. Must be punctual and consistent to work Must be able to work perform office duties during non-swim hours Responsibilities Instruct and supervise swim lessons for children and adults, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service to patrons, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with safety standards by monitoring pool activities and enforcing rules. Maintain current certifications in First Aid and CPR, and respond to emergencies as needed.
