Job Description

Description Rochelle School is a PreK-12 1A school in central Texas (a 10-minute drive from Brady, Texas). Our total enrollment is a little over 200 students annually. We are a small rural school built on traditional country values. Our students perform very well on state assessments and in extracurricular activities. Rochelle ISD uses an innovative 4-day workweek model; teachers and students have off all Fridays with the exception of the first Friday each month! Rochelle ISD is the first school in Region 15 that applied for and was approved to receive Teacher Incentive Allotment performance funding that recognizes the efforts of effective, master teachers. The district has provided over one million dollars to teachers via the TIA Program. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rochelle, TX for a Head Volleyball Coach with teaching duties in either PE, Elementary, or CTE Audio/Video. Our Volleyball Coach will oversee all aspects of the volleyball program, including planning and leading practices, developing game strategies, mentoring athletes, and managing team performance. Additional athletic duties may include serving as an assistant in basketball, track, and possibly tennis. Qualifications Strong expertise in Volleyball and previous coaching experience Proven ability in leadership, mentoring, and training athletes Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with athletes, staff, and parents Understanding of educational principles and a commitment to fostering student development Relevant certifications in coaching and first aid/CPR Ability to collaborate with school leadership and faculty Bachelor's degree and appropriate certification depending on position
