We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Basketball Coach to lead and develop our basketball program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in basketball, experience working with students, and the ability to foster a positive and motivating environment. This role involves coaching athletes of various skill levels, promoting teamwork, and enhancing individual player performance. Duties Develop and implement effective training programs tailored to the needs of individual players and the team as a whole. Conduct regular practices focusing on skill development, strategy, and teamwork. Organize and lead competitive games, ensuring adherence to rules and sportsmanship. Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance. Foster a positive team culture that encourages participation, respect, and personal growth. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote overall athletic development within the organization. Maintain communication with parents regarding player progress and team activities. Skills Strong knowledge of basketball techniques, strategies, and rules. Experience working with students in a sports or educational setting is highly desirable. Ability to manage behavior effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with players, parents, and other staff members. Our basketball players and parents expect to have their selected coaches present unless it's an emergency that prevents them from being present. Please provide us with two references including name & phone number that can speak on their relationship with you as a co-worker / employee. Practices are on Saturdays for tyler between 10am
