We do not do casual rec-league babysitting or basic cone drills. Our focus is strictly on technical skill work, high-intensity game-speed translation, and technical film study. We train dedicated talent ranging from elite youth prospects to collegiate and professional athletes. If you live in the gym, understand the deep nuances of modern basketball, and want to execute a high-level developmental blueprint alongside our Head Performance Coach, this is where you belong.
Key Responsibilities On-Court Execution:
Assist in leading game-speed skill sessions, ensuring sharp attention to detail regarding footwork, ball-handling sequencing, and situational scoring.
Live Energy & Resistance:
Provide active passing, ball-handling pressure, and controlled live resistance during drills to simulate real game scenarios.
Film & Metrics:
Assist with technical film study workflows and track athlete progress to ensure real developmental results.
Gym Management:
Maintain a locked-in, organized, and completely professional training environment before, during, and after sessions.
Requirements & Qualifications Deep Basketball Background:
Former or current collegiate/high-level players, or coaches with a proven, advanced understanding of the game.
Elite Work Ethic:
A true "gym rat" mentality. You must be exceptionally punctual, reliable, and possess the high energy required to command a court.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to see the small things instantly—correcting a player's hip level, pocket pass timing, or footwork sequencing.

Responsibilities Support lead trainers in organizing and conducting basketball training sessions tailored to various skill levels Assist with setting up training equipment, drills, and practice areas to ensure a smooth session flow Engage with students actively, providing encouragement, guidance, and constructive feedback to boost confidence and performance Help monitor participants' safety during activities, ensuring proper technique and behavior management Contribute to creating an inclusive environment by supporting diverse athletes with different backgrounds and abilities Aid in maintaining cleanliness and organization of training spaces and equipment before and after sessions Collaborate with team members to implement coaching strategies that promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship Skills Previous experience or familiarity with basketball or other sports such as cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (Judo, Karate), or swimming is highly desirable Background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children or students Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive discipline during activities Experience in lifeguard duties or health club environments adds valuable safety awareness skills Strong communication skills for effective instruction and motivation of young athletes Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while supporting lead trainers in a fast-paced setting Passion for sports, fitness, and youth development combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new coaching methods This role is an excellent stepping stone for individuals interested in careers related to sports education, child development, or athletic training.
