- Instruct students in various gymnastics techniques, including floor routines, vaulting, balance beam, and uneven bars.
- Develop and implement training plans tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and guidelines.
- Organize and lead warm-up exercises to prepare students for practice.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding progress and any concerns.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for program improvement.
- Assist in organizing gymnastics events, competitions, or showcases. Experience
- Previous experience as a gymnastics coach or instructor is preferred.
- Background in gymnastics or coaching is highly desired.
- Skills in related areas such as cheerleading, dance or tumbling are helpful.
- Experience working with children or youth in a childcare or educational setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students are essential.
