Responsibilities include: Teaching life skills and sportsmanship Supporting the athlete's schooling, grades, and attendance Overseeing eligibility - Registering each individual athlete for games and deciding who will be competing Designing workouts that will prepare the athletes for competition Recognizing which events each individual will participate in to benefit both them and the team Continue learning more and updating techniques Organizing and overseeing conditioning, practices, and games Knowing the rules and regulations of the sport Attending coaches' meetings Issuing and collecting uniforms Fundraising Providing forms and information on athletes to the athletic director Attending trainings such as CPR and first aid Providing announcements on the team's and athletes' performances to the school, the Salina Sun and Richfield Reaper Handling of finances (budgeting) Keeping track of equipment and making sure it is in condition to be used in competition Upholding the standards of the school at practice and competition For job details, contact the principal of the school or Nolan Andersen, Director - Human Resources, at (435) 896-8214.
