Immediately Job Description Bishop Ireton High School is in search of a dedicated experienced professional to serve as an Assistant Volleyball coach for the girls team. Bishop Ireton plays in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) and Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA) against some of the top programs in the country. The goal of the assistant coaches is to help build the program at the highest level of league and state play as we teach and develop our student athletes in skill, sportsmanship and character. Fall Season runs from early August to mid November with afternoon and evening practice times. Prior coaching and/or college playing experience is preferred. Bishop Ireton is a Catholic, co-educational college preparatory school located in Alexandria, Virginia.

Applicants will be evaluated on:

1) their experience coaching high school aged students; 2) their commitment to the principles of our Catholic, college preparatory school; and 3) their interpersonal skills and record of developing strong relationships with student-athletes, administrators, parent/guardians, and others in the school community. Experience and familiarity with competitive high school, or equivalent youth volleyball programs, are desirable. The coaches receive a stipend and reports to the Varsity Head Coach and Athletic Director.
