Nonexempt Reports to : Youth Programs Director Summary/objective Go team! We're looking for a Cheerleading Coach to run a high-energy sports clinic focused on teaching the fundamentals of cheerleading in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will build confidence and teamwork skills as they learn cheers, stunts, jumps, and basic tumbling, guided by acac instructors. Whether they're new to cheerleading or looking to improve, participants will leave with the basics of cheerleading and the excitement of performing as part of a team. Greeting members and guests, providing consistent friendly service Available for the season between August 31st and October 24th Practices once a week, Tuesday or Thursday, begin the week of August 31st between 5pm-7pm Games will be held from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM on September 12th, September 19th, September 26th, October 3rd, October 10th, October 17th; Playoffs will be held on October 24th Set-up and clean-up after Youth Programs Provide assistance to members ensuring a positive member experience Deliver outstanding service to our members, guests and fellow team members with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor Requirements Physical demands Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift Must be able to fully participate in all indoor and outdoor activities Must be able to work professionally and calmly in an environment which may have heightened noise and stress Proposed schedule The season begins the week of August 31st with practices being held 1 day per week on either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (exact day/time TBD) Games will be held from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM on September 12th, September 19th, September 26th, October 3rd, October 10th, October 17th Playoffs will be held on October 24th Required competencies, education, and experience Ability to successfully pass State required background checks, as required Ability to provide excellent customer service Genuine interest in working with children Must be at least 18 years old Company Expectations Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook Park in team member-designated areas Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep the club neat and clean Assist with acac programs, special events, or activities outside your department Promptly return messages Exhibit a positive attitude at all times Deliver five-star service to members and guests with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor at all times Affirmative Action/EEO statement acac is an equal opportunity employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
