Sports Management Full Job Description Job Overview:

The Virginia Beach City FC Youth Coach will be responsible for being the Assistant Coach of a youth travel soccer team. This individual will lead a group of 7-14 players through a Fall / Spring season.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Organize session plans that follow the age-specific curriculum
• Instruct players in a professional manner
• Speak with parents and other staff members in a professional manner
• Includes, setting up fields, making sure games/ practices start on time, being on time
• Be able to coach soccer for kids ages 2-16 in groups of up to 15.

Qualifications:

• Coaching experience of at least 1 year (preferred)
• Soccer playing experience (preferred)
• Childcare experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or pursuing (preferably sports management or physical education)
• Ability to work well with others
• Must be responsible
• Must enjoy working with children
• Pass background check
• Have reliable transportation
