Full Job Description Description:
The Girls Volleyball Coach is responsible for leading and developing a competitive and positive volleyball program that fosters teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual player growth. This role encompasses all aspects of the program, from planning and executing engaging practices and game strategies to recruiting and mentoring student-athletes. What You'll Do 1. Provide instruction for skill development and game rules. Practices should be daily (except on game days) and only during the time discussed with the Athletic Director. The Athletic Director must clear exceptions and be informed of any game or practice cancellations. 2. Impart good sportsmanship, teamwork and Christian values by example. Good manners and respect are to be shown at all times to the game/meet officials, opposing coaches, and all athletes. 3. Communicate positively and professionally with athletes and their families. 4. Ensure all athletes meet our academic eligibility requirements, and suspend athletes from practices and/or games according to the handbook policies. 5. Maintain, disperse, and return all equipment and uniforms given to the Coach by the Athletic Director. Stipend checks will not be issued until all equipment and uniforms are returned to and inventoried by the Athletic Director. Report any loss or damage of equipment as soon as possible so that it can be recovered or replaced in a timely manner. 6. Report and document all injuries to the Athletic Director immediately. First Aid information sheets and kits must be with the coach at all practices and games. 7. Return all fobs/keys issued at the beginning of the year once the season is over. 8. Stay with your team/athletes until the last athlete is picked up. 9. Adhere to all guidelines set forth in the Athletic Handbook.
Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
? A strong understanding of volleyball techniques and tactics, a passion for teaching and inspiring young athletes. ? Actively build relationships with athletes and families to ensure each student is welcomed and connected to. ? Dress in professional attire and model CRR expectations in every possible way. ? Be flexible and adaptable throughout the program as events may shift and change. ? Maintain a positive and engaged attitude throughout the athletic season. ? Ability to transport students to and from games in CRR vehicles. Who You Are ? Excellent communication skills ? Effective facilitation skills ? Ability to relate to high school students ?
