Overview Join our dynamic team as a Club Volleyball Coach at Monument Volleyball and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential! In this energetic role, you will lead and develop a volleyball team, foster a positive and motivating environment, and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for sports with coaching excellence, making a lasting impact on our youth community. Looking for boys and girls head and assistant coaches! Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging volleyball practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies Lead teams during competitions, providing guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback to players Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes respect, sportsmanship, and positive behavior management Communicate regularly with players, parents, and guardians regarding team progress and upcoming events Implement training sessions that incorporate sports-specific techniques such as passing, serving, blocking, and game tactics Ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols including first aid procedures and AED operation when necessary Support the overall growth of players by integrating physical education principles and encouraging healthy competition Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching or team leadership roles; experience working with children is highly preferred Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and game strategies; coaching or teaching sports-specific skills is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively motivate players and Background in related activities such as soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (e.g., karate or judo), swimming or gymnastics enhances your candidacy Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a team-oriented environment Enthusiasm for physical education and sports training instruction that inspires young athletes to excel Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where young athletes thrive!
