The St. James Performance Academy is seeking a Head Softball Coach to lead our elite Academy softball team. This role is responsible for the overall development, training, and competitive success of high-performance athletes. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the Academy softball program, including year-round training and competitive schedules. Develop individualized athlete development plans, including technical, tactical, physical, and mental preparation. Facilitate college recruiting and advancement through strong national softball network connections. Recruit, hire, and mentor coaching staff to ensure consistent training standards. Represent The St. James professionally within the softball community. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5+ years coaching/program leadership experience (3+ at Head or senior level). Proven track record of athlete development and college-level placements. Advanced knowledge of softball techniques, systems, and competitive pathways. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed. Physical Demands Must be able to stand, walk, and demonstrate softball skills for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry training equipment (up to 50 lbs). Participate in drills, conditioning, and on-field demonstrations. Background Requirements Must successfully complete a background check. Valid USA Softball or other relevant coaching certifications preferred.
