Job Description

Job Overview D-BAT Suffolk Baseball and Softball Academy is seeking dedicated and experienced Baseball and Softball Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baseball or softball, either through playing or coaching, and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves instructing players of various skill levels, developing training programs, and fostering a positive learning environment. The instructor will also be responsible for client communication, ensuring that players and their families receive exceptional service and support. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth of aspiring athletes while working in a dynamic sports academy setting. Duties Deliver high-quality baseball instruction tailored to players' skill levels and development goals Develop and implement training plans, drills, and practice sessions that enhance player performance Communicate effectively with clients, including players, parents, and guardians, to provide updates on progress and address any concerns Monitor and evaluate player progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement Maintain a safe and positive environment during all training sessions and activities Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure cohesive training programs and consistent messaging Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, rules, and industry best practices Skills Minimum of two years of college baseball playing experience or at least ten years of coaching experience in baseball or softball Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of various ages and skill levels Knowledge of baseball techniques, strategies, and safety protocols Organizational skills to plan engaging training sessions and track player progress Professional attitude with a passion for developing athletes and promoting sportsmanship Ability to adapt coaching methods to meet individual needs and learning stylesThis position is ideal for individuals committed to fostering athletic growth while providing excellent client service in a professional sports academy environment.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
