Share this job SVGs not supported by this browser. Description Responsibilities Teach Nordic ski lessons to guests of all ages and abilities. Serve as Mountain Ambassador - welcoming, assisting and directing guests. Teach snowshoeing and Fat biking per experience and ability. Work as part of a team dedicated to creating the best possible environment for taking and teaching a lesson. Work cooperatively with all Rikert departments. Be prepared to assist other departments as needed. Perform other operational duties of the Outdoor Center as seen fit by the Director. Compensation for this position is at $17.50/hour Requirements Experience teaching Nordic skiing preferred Experience working with the public Team player Enthusiastic demeanor Qualifications Ability to Nordic ski proficiently Ability to work as part of a team Excellent interpersonal skills Flexibility to adapt to situations Ability to connect with people and understand group dynamics Knowledge of the safety procedures for missing or injured students and guests Education & Training 21 years of age or older PSIA certification preferred but not required Benefits As an employee of Middlebury College, you will enjoy being part of a vibrant supportive community.
