Job Description
Unified Sports Coach Needed
Location:
Williston Central School
This position will remain open until filled. However, applications received within the first seven days of posting will receive priority consideration. Internal candidates will also be prioritized over external applicants during this initial seven-day window.
Williston Central School (WCS) is seeking a Unified Sports Coach to lead our program across the school year. The position includes organizing and supervising practices for fall bowling, winter snowshoeing, and spring bocce. Each sport season lasts approximately 8 weeks and includes one weekly 1.5-hour practice, as well as one full day of attendance at each sport's competition.
Primary Responsibilities
Organize and supervise weekly 1.5-hour practices for fall bowling, winter snowshoeing, and spring bocce.
Attend and oversee student athletes during one full-day competition for each sport season.
Manage season logistics and support student athletes throughout each 8-week sport season.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
Essential knowledge and prior experience with the Special Olympics Unified Sports program.
Excellent organizational skills to coordinate practices and competition days across three seasons.
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

This is a part-time stipend position based on qualifications and experience. The position is a "Category C Activity" on our co-curricular contract, with compensation based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement. More information about CVSD can be found on our district website.
