Job Description

High School Golf Coach - Woodstock, Vermont Woodstock Union High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Golf Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about golf, values mentorship, and is committed to fostering a positive and competitive team culture.

August 2026 Responsibilities Lead and develop the high school golf program throughout the season. Plan and conduct practices focused on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and course management. Prepare student-athletes for local, regional, and state competitions. Ensure compliance with all school, district, and Vermont Principals' Association (VPA) policies and regulations. Collaborate with school staff, families, and community members to support student success. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that promotes personal growth and athletic achievement. Qualifications Experience playing and/or coaching golf at the high school level or higher preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to motivate, mentor, and support student-athletes. Knowledge of high school athletics and eligibility requirements. Commitment to the academic, social, and athletic development of students. Successful completion of all required background checks and coaching certifications. Compensation and Benefits Competitive coaching stipend. Supportive school community and athletic department.
