Performance Coach Gritworks Athletics Location:
Gritworks Athletics Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 1:30-8:30 PM Occasional Saturday rotation
Compensation:
$23-$30 per hour This Is More Than a Coaching Job At Gritworks Athletics, we believe coaching is about more than running workouts. We exist to develop athletes and shape people. Our coaches help athletes build strength, speed, confidence, discipline, and resilience through elite training and meaningful relationships. The Role As a Performance Coach, you will lead and assist in Elite Grit and Jr. Grit training sessions, helping athletes improve performance while developing strong habits, work ethic, and confidence. You will work directly with athletes during our busiest training hours and help create the positive training environment that makes Gritworks special. Your job is simple but important: Show up. Coach with energy. Help athletes improve. The Athletes You'll Coach Jr. Grit - Youth Athlete Development Jr. Grit focuses on foundational athletic development for youth athletes.
These sessions emphasize:
Movement fundamentals Speed and coordination Strength development Confidence and discipline Building a love for training and sport Athletes in this program are typically upper elementary and middle school age, and the goal is to build strong athletic foundations that prepare them for higher levels of sport. Great Jr. Grit coaches bring energy, encouragement, and patience while teaching movement fundamentals. Elite Grit - Sport Performance Training Elite Grit is our advanced performance training program for middle school, high school, and college athletes.
These sessions focus on:
Speed development Strength and power Explosiveness and agility Injury resilience Competitive mindset Many athletes in this program are pursuing high school varsity or collegiate athletics, and training is designed to help them perform at a high level. Elite Grit coaches help athletes train with intensity, focus, and purpose. What You'll Do Lead and assist in Elite Grit and Jr. Grit training sessions Teach athletes proper movement and exercise technique Encourage effort, discipline, and growth Create a positive and competitive training environment Help sessions run smoothly and on schedule Support athletes and build strong relationships with them What We're Looking For We are looking for coaches who: Love sports and athlete development Bring energy and leadership to the training floor Care about athletes beyond just the workout Are dependable and professional Want to grow as a coach Take pride in helping athletes improve Experience in sports, coaching, strength training, or athletic performance is helpful, but character, energy, and coachability matter most.
