Position Description:
Our coaches support the district mission by: Coaching and developing players on the high school JV team as well as assisting the head coach of the Varsity team Expectation to work with the high school head coach to help build a cohesive 7-12 program
Terms of Employment:
November 16, 2026 - February 5, 2027 Must be available weekdays after school and Saturdays for practices and games Current CPR/First-Aid Card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletes Successful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and federal background checks including fingering at the applicant's expense
Salary Range:
$3,386 - $4,478/season depending on experience
Benefits:
Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington State law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, employees may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Must be 21 years of age or older Some coaching experience in any sport
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience playing basketball at the college level or beyond Experience coaching basketball at the High School level or higher Availability to assist with summer workouts and fundraising
