Terms of Employment:
November 16, 2026 - February 6, 2027 Available each weekday during the season at 3:30pm for practice/meets and Saturdays for tournaments Current CPR/First-Aid Card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletes Successful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and federal background checks including fingering at the applicant's expense
Salary Range:
$2,992 - $3,957/Season depending on experience
Benefits:
Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington State Law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, eligible employees may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.
Position Description:
Our coaches support the district mission by: Assisting with the HS program in developing skills and fundamentals of wrestling Working with the HS and MS coaching staff to develop a cohesive 7-12 program Coaching and developing athletes on the HS wrestling team, and instilling a good foundation of wrestling basics
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in coaching wrestling at the High School level or beyond Experience wrestling in Greco Roman and Freestyle
Preferred Qualifications:
Competed at state while wrestling in High School Experience in coaching wrestling at the High School level or beyond Experience wrestling in Greco Roman and Freestyle
