Gymnastics Coach (Recreational Program)

Performance Elite Gymnastics is seeking enthusiastic, dependable individuals to join our coaching team for our Recreational Gymnastics Program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, values structure and mentorship, and is looking for a long-term position with opportunities for growth within our program. We are committed to building a strong coaching team and are willing to train the right candidate, even if you do not have prior gymnastics coaching experience. About Our Program Performance Elite Gymnastics is a rapidly growing gymnastics program serving athletes from beginner recreational classes through competitive team levels. Our recreational program focuses on building confidence, strength, coordination, and foundational gymnastics skills in a positive and structured environment. Responsibilities Coach recreational gymnastics classes for athletes ages 6 months - 14 yrs Teach foundational gymnastics skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Assist with skill progressions and class organization Communicate professionally with parents and staff Help maintain cleanliness and safety of the gym facility; this includes nightly cleaning and closeout duties Support athletes in developing confidence, discipline, and teamwork Qualifications Enjoy working with children and youth athletes Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented Ability to stay engaged and energetic during classes Gymnastics or coaching experience preferred but not required We will train the right candidate. Requirements Must be able to pass a background check Must be dependable and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule Ability to work evenings and weekends (weekend shifts for birthday parties and/or open gyms) Ability to be physically active (spotting skills, moving equipment, etc.) Opportunities for Advancement This position offers opportunities for growth within our program, including: Advanced coaching roles Competitive team coaching Specialty spotting clinics and skill development Leadership positions within the gym Schedule Primarily evenings (4-8pm) , with occasional weekend opportunities for events, clinics, and open gyms. $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
