Job Description If you are passionate about developing youth through teamwork, competition, fun, and swimming, join our team as a Swim Team Coach for our competitive youth swim team, The Wave. We are looking for coaches for all five of our training groups.
Responsibilities:
Understand the important impact teaching a strong foundation of competitive strokes have on a swimmer's career, give corrective feedback in practice and at swim meets Nurture and motivate youth to realize their potential and achieve their goals at practice as well as swim meets
Hours:
Varying hours after 4:30pm (Monday through Friday) and some weekends for swim meets Requirements American Red Cross (or equivalent): Lifeguard Certification (certification can be obtained after being hired) CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification (certification can be obtained after being hired) Water Instructor Certification (preferred) Benefits FREE adult Y membership 50% discount on Y programs 403(b) retirement account 12% retirement after 2 years and 1,000 hours per year Free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) An Equal Opportunity Employer
