Position OverviewProvides an outstanding mountain experience for every guest through technical coaching, safe terrain guidance and guest service.

Job DutiesCreates an outstanding mountain experience for every guest.

Available to be scheduled for duration of the winter operating season.

Reports to line up on time and teaches class lessons, private lessons, or other MSS lesson products by customer request or as assigned by the meeting place supervisor.

Able to teach, coach and guide guests of all ages in specified discipline.

Participates in required MSS training and meetings.

Participates in on-snow training to become and remain current in the American Teaching System (or foreign equivalent) for skiing and snowboarding.

Complies with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) and MSS safety and operational procedures while conducting classes.

Promotes the MSS and creates positive customer relations.

Are you the right fit? Below are some traits an exemplary candidate possesses.

Tangible ski skillsAASI Level 1 Certification or higher or previous teaching experience required.

Prior experience working in outdoor industry preferred.

Prior guest service experience preferred.

Willing to work on weekends and holidays.

Willing to work with any age group.

At this time, we are looking for AASI Certification Levels 1, 2, or 3 or previous teaching experience.
