Job Description

The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) seeks a qualified, enthusiastic individual to join our faculty as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences. This is a full-time teaching position for first- and second-year medical students. The successful candidate will hold a terminal degree in Biomedical Sciences, Physiology, or a related field. This faculty member will join a teaching team primarily responsible for the educational development of ACOM students. Experience teaching courses in biomedical sciences, physiology, and/or biochemistry is preferred. The faculty member is also expected to contribute to scholarly programs in their chosen areas. The college is the academic division of Southeast Health. ACOM was the first osteopathic college established in Alabama and the first in the nation to share a campus with a regional medical center.
