Job Description Overview The School of Nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery ( AUM ) invites applications from qualified candidates for the Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant Clinical/Associate Clinical Professor position.

Letter of Interest/Intent Curriculum Vitae Professional Reference Sheet Transcript(s) Responsibilities This is a full-time, 12-month Adult Health Nursing faculty position teaching in the Undergraduate/Prelicensure Program. Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on the teaching, service, and scholarship components of the faculty role based on rank. This is not a remote position. The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Knowledge and insights gained from the exploration of his/her area of specialization. Ability to communicate to professional peers. Ability to perform successfully the professional duties assigned. Ability to engage in scholarship and research. Ability to demonstrate academic growth. Candidates for this faculty position with expertise in Adult Health Nursing are encouraged to apply. Acute care or critical care is preferred. While this position is open until filled, Auburn University at Montgomery reserves the right to stop accepting applications once interviewing has begun.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing at the time employment begins. Must have current clinical skills. Candidates must hold an unencumbered Alabama RN license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate degree or doctorate degree conferred by date of hire. Teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program and certified in clinical specialty. Why Work at AUM?
