The successful candidate will be expected to provide instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate course levels. All areas of teaching will be considered, but the need is greatest in financial accounting and tax courses. Education:

All applicants must possess a terminal degree in Accounting or a closely related field from an accredited university. ABD Candidates -

Applicants who are ABD candidates may be considered upon evidence of anticipated completion within one year of hire.

Experience and Training:

Ideal Candidate Preference will be given to applicants with the following: Doctorate in Accounting or a closely related field from an accredited university, preferably from an AACSB accredited program. Demonstrated teaching experience in the field of accounting or closely related discipline at a college or university. Demonstrated accounting industry experience, preferably at the level of manager or above. Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant, CPA; Certified Management Accountant, CMA; Certified Internal Auditor, CIA; Enrolled Agent, EA. Demonstrated AASCB Scholarly Academic record of current and relevant scholarship and activities related to the field of teaching. Scholarly Academics are expected to have produced peer or editorial reviewed publications related to their field of teaching as part of their portfolio of scholarship. Candidates who possess a Doctorate or terminal degree plus at least five (5) years of full-time service in a college or university in a rank of Assistant Professor or above or its comparable equivalent may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor.
