Job Description
Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the One Year Assistant Professor
- Chemistry position.
QUALIFICATIONS
PhD in Chemistry is required. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and experience teaching General Chemistry Lectures and Laboratories. Ability to instruct other advanced chemistry courses and experience with STEM education preferred.POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position provides instruction in courses required for students majoring in Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Earth Science, Health Sciences and Nursing. Teaching responsibilities will include 12 load credits per semester teaching lecture and lab courses in general chemistry. Applicants must submit evidence of quality undergraduate teaching. COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
The One-Year Assistant Professor- Chemistry is compensated at the Assistant Professor salary level in accordance with Connecticut State University American Association of University Professors (CSU-AAUP) Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.
