Job Summary/Basic Functions The Section of Psychiatry in Baton Rouge is seeking an addiction psychiatrist for a clinical faculty position. The incumbent will provide psychiatric care to patients in an outpatient and inpatient settings, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. Responsibilities include delivering longitudinal outpatient care, coordinating with multidisciplinary team members, and supporting continuity of care. Participation in call coverage, including nights and weekends, may be required. The role also includes teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, with opportunities to contribute to educational programs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and support the ongoing development of clinical services.
Minimum Qualifications Required Education:
MD or equivalent
Certifications or Licenses Required:
