Location:
Worcester, MASSACHUSETTS Description The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing Program invites applications at the Assistant Professor rank for the Doctor of Nursing Practice faculty position. The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing (GSN) is part of an academic health science center at UMass Chan Medical School focused on preparing doctorally-prepared nurse practitioners, a nursing leaders, and nurse scientists. This part time (.6 FTE, benefited) 12- month position includes teaching and practice scholarship responsibilities in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Our DNP program prepares, RNs with a Bachelor's degree and Post Master's Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and nurse administrators. Candidates with a doctoral degree in nursing or related field, teaching experience in leadership, organizational systems and quality improvement, and an active program of practice and academic/clinical scholarship and service are preferred. National certification as a Family, Psychiatric-Mental Health, or Adult-Gerontology Acute or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and RN/NP licensure in Massachusetts is preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with previous experience. The position will remain open until filled. Salary:
$55,000-65,000 In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is listed above (exclusive of benefits and retirement). At UMass Chan Medical School, final base salary offers are determined based on a combination of factors, including your skills, education, and relevant experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent compensation across our teams. Please note that the range provided reflects the full base salary range for this position. Offers are typically made within the starting range to allow for future growth and development within the role. In addition to base pay, UMass Chan offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package, which includes paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and participation in a 401A retirement plan.
