In subsequent semesters, these core courses will be supplemented with courses in the candidate's area of specialization. Lower-level courses are capped at 32 students, and seminars are capped at 18 students. The position carries no expectations of service or advising so that the candidate may focus on teaching and on developing effective and engaging pedagogical strategies. In that regard, the candidate will be mentored by the Department chair and further supported by TCNJ's Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
