Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry The Department of Pharmacological Sciences (DPS) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai invites applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry. We seek outstanding candidates with demonstrated excellence in elucidating molecular mechanisms of disease, drug discovery, and AI-enabled protein and small-molecule design for human diseases, including cancer, infectious diseases, and neurological disorders. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai offers an exceptional, highly collaborative research environment with world-class shared facilities in protein science and chemical biology. Qualified candidates must hold a PhD and/or MD degree, with established expertise in Chemical Biology and/or Medicinal Chemistry, including research integrating AI and data-driven methods into drug discovery, and a strong record of research accomplishment. Successful candidates are expected to establish a vibrant, independently funded research program and contribute to collaborative, cutting-edge research and drug discovery efforts across the institution. Compensation:
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The pay range for this role is $130,000 - $228,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
