• engineering , invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates must have an outstanding record of accomplishment and have an interest in any one of the following areas:
• Semiconductor processing (e.g., chemical mechanical planarization, nanotechnology)
• Energy & Environment (e.g., renewables, biofuels, electrical energy storage, CO2 sequestration/conversion, water treatment and membranes)
• Process Engineering (e.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach engineering courses that satisfy the department's teaching mission.
• Contribute expertise in research that complements the department's strategic initiatives in process systems engineering, biomaterials, plasma engineering, electrochemistry, energy and semiconductor processing.
• Advise students on their career paths.
• Be willing to contribute and lead departmental and university committees.
• Cultivate a safe, respectful environment for student achievement.
• Assist with other projects, administrative duties, and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications Minimal Qualifications:

A PhD degree in chemical engineering or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in chemical engineering or related fields, including a strong publication record and interest in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. Essential Skills
