- _Our healthcare delivery network is anchored by Strong Memorial Hospital, an 800-bed University-owned teaching hospital which boasts specialty programs that consistently rank among the best in the nation according to US News & World Report.
- _The University of Rochester Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Urogynecology & Minimally Invasive Gynecology is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Urogynecologist to join a busy academic clinical practice._
- _The Urogynecology practice offers a full range of services for evaluation & management of pelvic floor disorders within a catchment area encompassing Western New York down to Albany and into northern Pennsylvania.
- _clinical care of patients with complex pelvic floor disorders including surgical and non-surgical management. Proficiency in vaginal & laparoscopic/robotic approaches to pelvic reconstruction is essential._
- _teaching Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Fellows in clinic and the OR, including supervision of after-hours call as scheduled_
- _teaching of other learners including medical students, OB-GYN and Urology Residents in clinic & the OR, as well as Family Medicine & Internal Medicine residents attending clinic for brief clinical exposure experiences_
- _participation in division & department activities including quality improvement, systems improvement, and research activities_
- Qualifications
- _•
M.D./ D.O.
Degree or equivalent_ _- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery_ _
- Eligible for a New York State Medical License_ _
- Currently board-certified or eligible for board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology and in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery_ _
- Must meet all credentialing requirements_ _
- Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required_ _
- Compliance with University and New York State health requirements_
