Description The Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry,and Physics at the University of Mount Union, an ACS approved program, invites applicants for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor ofChemistry position to begin August 1, 2026. Depending on projected curricular needs of the University, this appointment may be eligible forconversion to a renewable, non-tenure track position. Responsibilities Teaching responsibilities include courses ingeneral chemistry as well as possible opportunities in the candidate's area of expertise. Opportunities to engage students in undergraduateresearch will also be available. Qualifications Applicants should hold a Ph. D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry; ABD willbe considered. Consideration will also be given to applicants with a master's degree and four years of full-time university teachingexperience.
