Job Description

Visiting Assistant Professor Wright State University Dayton, OH The Wright State University Department of Kinesiology and Health (KNH) invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin in Fall 2026. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic academic department committed to student success, high-quality instruction, and meaningful engagement within the field of health and kinesiology. The Visiting Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses within the department, delivering engaging and effective instruction that supports student learning and development. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the selected candidate will contribute to the department's academic community through collaboration with faculty, participation in departmental activities, and support of program initiatives. The role requires a strong commitment to academic excellence, student mentorship, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Required:
Earned graduate degree in Health Sciences, Exercise Science, or a related field by start date. Previous university teaching experience or equivalent. Candidate must demonstrate evidence of collaborative involvement in professional service, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment.
