Job Description
Assistant Professor or Lecturer of Public Health Lander University College of Nursing, Human Performance, and Health Sciences Lander University College of Nursing, Human Performance, and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time faculty position in public health at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) or lecturer (non-tenure track), depending on qualifications. We are seeking a dynamic educator who is student-centered and engaging in the classroom, brings real-world public health insight into teaching, is enthusiastic about program development and innovation and values community impact.
Minimum Qualifications:
Assistant Professor:
Earned doctorate (PhD) in Public Health or closely related discipline. Evidence of effective teaching at the college level and demonstrated or potential for scholarship/research.Lecturer:
Master's degree (MPH) or closely related discipline. Evidence of effective teaching or relevant professional experience and strong commitment to student engagement and success. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. BLS certification required.Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience in areas such as epidemiology, biostatistics, health promotion, nutrition, environmental health, mental health, and substance abuse. Experience with traditional and online instruction. Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary programs. Effective communication and collaboration skills.Closing Date:
