JOB DESCRIPTION
- The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Department of Radiology invites applications for a full-time
- Emergency Radiologist
- to provide overnight imaging interpretation across our growing Gulf Coast multi-campus health system. This is an outstanding opportunity for a radiologist who values clinical excellence, schedule predictability, and the stability and academic richness of a distinguished academic medical center.
- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide full-time, on-site overnight Emergency Radiology coverage across UTMB campuses on a 7-on/14-off schedule (10:00 p.
m.-7:00 a.m.). Interpret high-acuity, high-volume emergency imaging, including radiography, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, for trauma, stroke, acute vascular, and complex multi-system cases across multiple subspecialties. Support timely and accurate diagnostic services within UTMB's integrated academic radiology practice.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- + MD or DO degree. + Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology. + Fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging + Certificate of Added Qualification in Cardiac CT. + Valid Texas Medical License, or ability to obtain prior to start. + Eligibility for appointment to the UTMB medical staff. + Authorization to work in the United States.
