Professoriate Staff Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics The Department of Mathematics invites applications for multiple tenure-track positions at the ranks of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor (Ref.: 537201). Appointments will initially be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, commencing as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at the Professor/Associate Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms, subject to approval. The Department of Mathematics is committed to providing rigorous and comprehensive undergraduate education, fostering graduate research among students with strong mathematical aptitude, and advancing teaching and research with the goal of achieving international excellence. //www.math.hku.hk , respectively. Applicants should possess a Ph. D. degree in Mathematics or a related field. The Department welcomes candidates from all areas of mathematics, with particular interest in those whose research enhances or complements existing strengths. Appointees will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervise graduate students, conduct high-quality research, and participate in administrative duties at both the Departmental and Faculty levels. A highly competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be offered, in addition to annual leave, professional leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable. A start-up package tailored to the appointee's experience and research needs will be provided. The University only accepts online application for the above posts.
