Job Description

Job Description The Robert Larner MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Medical Center are seeking an outstanding clinician-educator for our academic general internal medicine group in the Department of Medicine. This position will be 100% FTE at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the Clinical Scholar (non-tenure) pathway. This position includes opportunity to be the physician site leader.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver high value primary care in a patient-centered medical home setting Teach, evaluate and mentor medical students and resident physicians Participate in divisional and departmental efforts to improve care delivery and medical education Have leadership experience in directing outpatient teams Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, a commitment to a career in academic general internal medicine, excellent communication skills, record of engagement in teaching and service.
