Job Description:
The William M. Lasky School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management with a specialization in leadership to begin August 2026. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, a strong record or potential for research, and a commitment to academic service. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in Leadership, Change Management, Ethics, Strategic Leadership, and related topics. While ethical and responsible leadership is one of the founding tenets of Norwich University, the undergraduate major in leadership is relatively new. This position offers opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, contribute to curriculum development, advise students, and engage in scholarly and professional activities aligned with the mission of the university.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Leadership, Management, or a closely related discipline is preferred (ABD candidates nearing completion will be considered). Candidates whose advanced degrees are not in Leadership should possess relevant professional experience in Management or Leadership, or a terminal degree with significant teaching experience in leadership-related courses. A demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Prior university-level teaching experience preferred. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a diverse academic community.
