Job Description
The Carthage College Art & Design Department is currently accepting applications for adjunct studio art faculty. The positions are for the 2026 fall semester and begin August 26 and end Dec 11. Applicants may apply to teach 1-3 courses.
ART 1071 FOUNDATIONS, MATERIALS
Objects+Space Mondays and Wednesdays 1:35pm-4:35pmART 2000
Drawing I Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00pm-4:00pmART 2750
4D Video Art & Sound Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00pm-9:00pmART 3000
Advanced Drawing (involves figure drawing) Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm-9:00pm These courses meet twice per week for 3 hours each class period. An MFA is required for the position and any hired applicant is subject to a background check. Opportunities for 1-3 classes in the 2026-27 spring semester are likely for hired applicants.
