Job Description

The Opportunity Hult International Business School seeks impactful teachers to train and launch the next generation of international business leaders. Specifically, we are seeking an Adjunct Faculty in Oral Communication/ Public Speaking with our undergraduate business program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The successful candidate has a proven record of facilitating excellent student experiences. Even more important is the candidate's demonstrated willingness to improve teaching practices and to innovate new tools and techniques to achieve student learning objectives. The ideal candidate will also have active research projects that have and will continue to generate relevant and rigorous intellectual contributions in both academic and practitioner-oriented channels. Finally, the candidate should desire to join our community with an explicit desire to improve all aspects of the Hult educational experience, including those outside of the classroom.
Expected Qualifications:
Preferred:
Candidates should hold Master's Degree in Communications or related field. Or a Master's Degree in teaching with an emphasis in communication Experience teaching oral communication/ public speaking at the university level. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, particularly an internationally diverse group. A Hult classroom with 65 students may represent 40 different nationalities.
Minimum:
Candidates should hold a Master's Degree and have extensive professional communication experience. Professional experience in international business is highly desirable to bring direct, relevant business practice into the classroom. Experience teaching Public Speaking and/or Interpersonal Communications.
Salary range is:
$3,000 to $3,500 per credit hour, commensurate with qualifications
